“This is an update to an earlier review.
When my a/c compressor stopped on Saturday, with temperatures over 100 degrees, I knew I had a problem. Fortunately, Hamstra was able to send someone over that evening and necessary repairs were made. (I have a service contract.)
Everything checked out fine after a failed part was replaced. The only negative was the price. I was prepared to pay the premium for a technician on a weekend. I was not prepared to pay as much for the new part and installation cost. Other than this price issue, the repair was very efficient and complete.
To it’s credit, Hamstra called me to discuss my concern. We were able to resolve the issue, based on different assumptions and information conveyed. My conclusion is that Hamstra not only performs good work, but is interested enough in customer satisfaction to properly resolve issues.”
