“Thank you Richard! You came on a Friday to identify a noise, I heard coming from our air handler system in our basement. You were persistent, even though you did not hear the noise I heard. Most people, who do not live in our 100 year old house would not have even notice the noise. You checked several things and finally figured out it was the motor starting to fail. You never made me feel like, I did not know what I was talking about, even though noises are hard to identify. You listened and you figured out the problem!! Thank you! You are are the best! You came back on Monday and installed a new motor, which BTW you figured out was still under warranty! Thank you, Richard!”

“We recently hired Hamstra Heating & Cooling to install a MiniSplit system in our garage and we could not be happier with the results. From the first consultation and throughout the entire process, their people were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and easy to work with. Their Install Coordinator Elisabeth did a great job coordinating everything and keeping us completely informed.

They helped us select the right size unit for our space, provided us with a fair and transparent estimate and scheduled our installation quickly. On the installation day, their crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, kept the
work areas clean and were so respectful. The workmanship was excellent- wiring and piping were done neatly and they explained everything before they left. They also helped me download the app so we could control the unit from our phones and also provided a remote.

Now that the MiniSplit is up and running, our garage is amazingly comfortable. The unit so so quiet too!

“Richard the technician, that came on Sunday to diagnose the problem was very efficient, professional and quick. He order a new motor and let me know I would hear from the office the following morning on Monday.
On Monday I received a call and was informed that the technician could come on Wednesday (today 8/6). Richard arrive replaced the motor quickly and very professional. I’m very pleased how quickly and the great job he did. I”

“Maintenance found a need for repair. Had to replace the coolant and coils. Coolant must be similar to a liquid form of gold. The job needed to be done and was partially covered by warranty. Hamstra kept me completely aware of the problem and solution with photos and explanations.”

“We had another company come out that gave us an estimate that included repairs that didn’t need to be done. Word of mouth I called and boy oh boy the got the job. They brought us portable ACs for the house that helped. 4 days without AC sucks don’t know how the people can be without. Excellent price too.
