Job Summary
OverviewJoin our dynamic team as an experienced Service Technician. This role performs diagnostic and troubleshooting on residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems. Present repair and replacement options to the client. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs according to company standards, providing the client with a high-quality experience. The technician will continuously be trained in client interaction, representing Hamstra’s mission and values, and in all technical aspects of this position.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Insurable by Company insurance carrier
- Valid driver’s license
- Two years or more in the HVAC industry
- Advanced customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow and adhere to company safety program
- Follow written and oral directions
- Ability to work under extreme heat conditions
- EPA certification – Universal or Type I & II
- NATE certifications - Core, Gas, Furnace, and Heat Pump & A/C
- Excellent peer interactions and team building skills
- Must be able to meet US Dept of Labor strength level designation of Medium/Heavy (See below)

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
