It’s time for your heating tune-up!
It’s still 90 degrees in Tucson but it’s time for your heating tune-up! We know most people won’t be using the heat right now but our schedule is filling up quickly! Be prepared for the cooler weather by prescheduling your heating tune-up NOW!
It is important to keep your furnace and A/C maintained on an annual basis by a quality HVAC professional. We recommend bi-annual maintenance to keep your heating and cooling working at peak efficiency.
PRE-SEASON MAINTENANCE IS IMPORTANT
Choice Service Club
Hamstra Heating & Cooling offers 3 plans for preventative maintenance that we call our Choice Service Club. Being a member of our Choice Service Club not only helps protect you from breakdowns, but also makes sure that if you experience one, you get put to the front of the list for service.
Our membership includes:
- Bi-annual inspections to maintain your system
- Proactive recommendations to keep your system running right
- Validation of manufacturer’s warranty by keeping and providing service documents
- Proper maintenance of your system to reduce energy bills
- Inspect your filters monthly and replace or clean as needed
- Keep registers, vents, and return air grills uncovered
- Keep the areas surrounding indoor HVAC equipment clear of furniture
- Keep bushes or debris away from the outdoor unit
- Check your carbon monoxide detectors regularly
- Adjust your thermostat for heating
Being A Choice Service Club Member
Hamstra’s maintenance plans are designed as a CHOICE membership, meaning that YOU pick the plan that best fits the need of your unit, based on your budget and the recommendations of our technicians. Our maintenance plan also provides peace of mind knowing we will call you when it is time to schedule your bi-annual tune-ups and the program auto renews.
Our membership is easy with our monthly payment options or yearly auto renewal. Whether you chose the Annual or the Monthly option, the price comes out the same. We did this so that you may chose the method that works best for your budget. In appreciation of you being a loyal client, we are able to extend significant savings on the services performed versus standalone visits.

Canned Food Drive
With summer as our busiest season we were looking for a way to continue our focus on giving back and gaining involvement across our team and client base. As a result, we ran a summer long canned food drive. Last month we loaded up our trucks and delivered 3,480 lbs of food as well as a $1,000 donation to the Community Food Bank. Thank you so much to all of those who helped with our summer canned food drive. We are proud to be part of the Tucson community. Please continue to donate to the Community Food Bank throughout the year!


Save Our Kids Golf Scramble
Hamstra Helping Hands was a tee box sponsor and had 8 players golfing for the 26th Annual “Save Our Kids” Golf Scramble to benefit Mentoring Tucson’s Kids. Mentoring Tucson’s Kids is a private, non-profit, faith-based organization with a mission of positively influencing youth facing tough life challenges by providing one-on-one mentor relationships with healthy, committed and caring adults. - Following all CDC and WHO guidelines
- Practicing social distancing (in office and on job sites)

- Personal Protective Equipment (disposable gloves, masks as required, and shoe covers)
- Client qualification (verify no one in the home/office is experiencing symptoms prior to sending our technician)
- Daily management safety check-ins with all team members
One client noted, after their service call, “Technician did a great job only touching the things I asked him to, he changed gloves at every unit (I have 5) looks like you guys are on top of things to keep us safe thank you!”
We know that the wellbeing of your family and comfort of your home is more important now than ever and we do not take our responsibility lightly. We will continue to monitor CDC recommendations and adjust our protocols as needed.
