2020 May Newsletter
To Our Valued Clients,
The Hamstra family wishes you and your loved ones good health and safety during these unprecedented times. Our hearts go out to all those impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. We are inspired by the selfless healthcare workers on the front lines, some of whom are a direct extension of our Hamstra family.
We are committed to protecting our community and are here to serve you!
As a company, we are taking precautions before, during and after our onsite visits to help ensure the safety of our clients and team members, including:
- Following all CDC and WHO guidelines
- Practicing social distancing (in office and on job sites)
- Daily office and vehicle sanitation
- Personal Protective Equipment (disposable gloves, masks as required, and shoe covers)
- Client qualification (verify no one in the home/office is experiencing symptoms prior to sending our technician)
- Daily management safety check-ins with all team members
“Thanks for another spring a/c check-up. Chris was our technician, and he was friendly and courteous, especially with following the covid-19 safeguards.”
We know that the wellbeing of your family and comfort of your home is more important now than ever and we do not take our responsibility lightly. We will continue to monitor CDC recommendations and adjust our protocols as needed.
Thank you for being a valued Hamstra client and we appreciate your support during these challenging times. Please reach out with any questions and remember that we are here for you!

Indoor Air Health Concerns
Since comfort systems are responsible for filtering indoor air and distributing conditioned air throughout your home or building, if present, there is potential for any virus or bacteria to be spread throughout the structure. In a recently published article by The News (HVAC publication), author Maria Taylor notes:
“Infectious particles in the air could stay aloft long enough to be collected, say at the return grille of an HVAC system, go through a duct, and infect someone in a different space.”
We have used Hamstra for decades! Every time they come, they are so professional and courteous, explain what they are doing, show us pictures (before and after). We have never had a problem with them and will continue doing business with this highly qualified team!!
